Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to Visit Seoul in April
To Attend Investment Seminar at Lotte Hotel April 5
Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will visit South Korea for a business promotion seminar to be held at Seoul's Lotte Hotel on April 5, 2011, Malaysian Embassy announced on March 22, 2011.

The Malaysia investment promotion seminar will be co-hosted by the Malaysian Embassy in Seoul and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

The Malaysian premier will deliver a key-note speech at the seminar.

KCCI Chairman Sohn Kyung-Shik will make an opening speech at the event.

The seminar will be held at the Crystal Ballroom on the second floor of the hotel from 1:30 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. on the day.

All the Korean businesses interested in investing in Malaysia are invited to the seminar.

Earlier, Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Malaysian prime minister, Mahatir bin Mohamman visited South Korea for three days. He attended "Global Korea 2011" held in Seoul on Feb. 24, 2011.

On Dec. 9, 2010, South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak visited Malaysia on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was appointed as Malaysia's 6th prime minister on April 3, 2009. He replaced Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who did not seek reelection as Umno President.
