"Swiss Weeks in Seoul" Goes On
Swiss Ambassador to Seoul Thomas Kupfer

Switzerland is presenting the "Swiss Weeks in Seoul" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Korea and on the occasion of Switzerland's participation in the EXPO 2012 Yeosu.

From February until April 2012, the "Swiss weeks in Seoul" is featuring various events in Swiss Arts & Culture, Design, Sustainability as well as innovation to introduce diverse aspects and less commonly known sides of Switzerland.

You can meet some Swiss Films, Mangrove, at Art house MOMO, Ehwa Women University, on 12. April 2012(Thu.) 20:00, and Manipulation, on 13 April 2012(Fri.) at same place. And a special art exhibition 'Reflections from Nature: Collection Cahiers d’ Artistes', of 4 promising Swiss contemporary artists under the theme of “Reflections from Nature”at the SongEun ArtSpace in Chungdam-Dong, accompanied by artist talk sessions, cultural events and art-related lectures

And "Swiss Pavilion at the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea" will be set up from May. 12 to Aug. 12, 2012. The Swiss Pavilion is designed to provide visitors with unique and interactive experiences through different exhibition spaces under the theme, “he Source.

It’ in your hands.”Dedicated to the core topic of water, Switzerland’ pavilion presents its theme with the support of state-of-the-art technology, offering an interactive, emotional visitor experience.
