FORCA Members Gather at a Seoul Hotel
Participants Discuss Empowering Future Activities

Scores of officials of the foreign companies operating in South Korea gathered at a Seoul hotel to announce their activity plans and to discuss their strategy for the remainder of year 2014.

At “FORCA Extraordinary Committee Meeting 2014” held at “JW Marriott Hotel Seoul” on June 10, 2014 some 30 members of Korea Foreign Company Association (FORCA) Committee exchanged their opinion and discussed how they consolidate FORCA activities in the future.

FORCA joined by hundreds of foreign business entities operating in South Korea has been holding its meetings for the interests of its members and to promote further investment from abroad.

Among the key participants were Director Simson Huh of Umicore marketing service, Managing Director Suh Hong-Pyo of Haagen-Dazs Korea, and CEO Seung Su-An of Insulation Korea.

In a welcome speech its newly elected President Lee Hee-Sung introduced the 2014 promotion projects for collaborating with the local government and the local universities.

He urged participants for more and stronger cooperation with FORCA activities in the speech.

Mr. Lee is the president of Intel Korea Ltd, Asia Pacific.

As part of the primary business projects, FORCA plans to sign an MOU with Kyunghee University for business-academy cooperation, according to the FORCA president.

Ms. Bae Sang-Nam, newly appointed to the post of FORCA’s general manager, made a general presentation of “FORCA 2014 promotion & marketing plan.” The whole FORCA meeting was mceed by her.

During the dinner gathering a local musician was invited to sing a song.
