Uzbek Envoy to Host Roundtable in Seoul
on Role of Its Constitution

Ambassador Botirjon Asadov of Uzbekistan

Ambassador Botirjon Asadov of Uzbekistan will invite chairman of Korean Council on Foreign Relations, several noted scholars, and journalists to the roundtable to be held at its embassy in Seoul on Dec. 3 (Thursday), 2015.

The roundtable“Role of Constitution in Strengthening the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”will be held between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the day.

Registration will start at 10:45 a.m.

Before the start of the roundtable discussion Ambassador Botirjon Asadov will greet the participants with his welcoming address.

Opening remarks will be made by Chairman Chung Tae-Ik of Korean Council on Foreign Relations.

Another opening remarks will be delivered by
Director Eom Gu-Ho of Hanyang Universiy's Asia-Pacific Research Center.

Earlier on Oct. 20, 2015 Director Eom hosted a symposium on the campus of his university regarding the Central Asian country's experience on social tasks.

The event was participated by the high-ranking Uzbekistan's delegation headed by Deputy Chairwoman Svetlana Artikova of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to the main discussion the basic introduction of the roundtable topic will be explained by the Uzbek envoy.

The discussion among the participants will take an hour or so before the luncheon.

Two scholars from National Assembly will also take part in the roundtable. They are Director Jung Yoo-Eui of National Assembly Research Center, and Research Officer Kim Seon-Hwa of National Assembly Research Center.

Four other university professors invited to the roundtable are Prof. Jeon Dae-Wan of Keimyung University, Prof. Lee Sang-Joon of Kookmin University, Prof. Lee Young-Jo of KyungHee University, and Prof. Kim Seong-Jin of Duksung Womens University.

From the Uzbekistan Embassy Political Counsellor Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, 2nd. Sec. Shakhzod Kurbanov, and 3rd Sec. Sador Sadikov, as well as the envoy, will join the roundtable.
