Uzbek Envoy in Seoul to Host Media Briefing on Economic Chances in Central Asian Republic
Inside of one of the three Madrasahs at The Registan at Samarkand. The Registan was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of Timurid dynasty currently in Uzbekistan. The meaning of Registan is "desert" in Persian language.

Uzbek Ambassador to Seoul Botirjon Asadov will have a media briefing on economic opportunities of South Korean firms in the Central Asian Republic at its new embassy in Seoul on Jan. 28, 2016.

The event, titled "The most important priorities of economic program of Uzbekistan for 2016: New opportunities for South Korean businesses" will start at 3 p.m. on the day at its embassy.

The Uzbekistan Embassy has recently moved to its new address: at 27, Daesagwan-ro 11-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Korea. It is located between Soonchunhyang University Hosptial and the main Itaewon street.

The press briefing will be dedicated to the major outcomes of the speech of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov on "Results of socio-economic development in the country in 2015 and the main priorities of Economic Program for 2016 delivered at the extended meeting of the government of Uzbekistan on Jan. 15, 2016.

The purpose of event is to make brief presentation about Uzbekistan's Economic Policy directions for 2016 which is opening new opportunities for South Korean companies.

During the briefing more information and other details will also be presented to the participants about these opportunities to share opinions on further developing bilateral economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea.
