Prof. Francesco Canganella to Host Italy-Korea Science Club's March Meeting at His Residence
Prof. Francesco Canganella, science and technology counsellor of the Embassy of Italy in Seoul

Prof. Francesco Canganella, science and technology counsellor of the Embassy of Italy in Seoul, is inviting scores of local and international scholars and media people to the March 29 (Thursday), 2018 gathering of the Italy-Korea Science Club.

The monthly science club meeting will be hosted by Prof. Canganella at his residence in Seoul. The gathering starts at 7 p.m. on the day.

As usual, the monthly event is arranged as an informal meeting in which a talk of about 45 minutes will be given by a voluntary speaker in turn about his area of research, according to Prof. Canganella.

In the talk general issues, main topics, key aspects of bilateral cooperation, and potential implications for the common people will be covered.

Moreover a special emphasis will be given to innovation and creativity, and of course questions are welcome to go deeper in the field.

An Italian buffet-dinner will follow the talk as a get-together opportunity to pose further questions and share current knowledge in science as well as in cultural activities.

For the March meeting, Dr. Claudio Saracini of Ewha Womans University in Seoul will be invited as a guest speaker.

He is also a Korean research fellow (National Research Foundation). He will deliver the speech under the title of "Snapshots into the Use of Lasers to Induce Bioinspired Molecular Reactions."
