Malaysia, UAE Firms Signs for Mobile Services
DUBAI (Bernama) — Malaysian wireless connectivity solution provider Dallab has signed an agreement with e-Company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to offer mobile services in the Arab region.

E-Company is the Internet services and information and communications technology (ICT) business unit of UAE national telecom operator Etisalat.

Under the terms of the arrangement, e-Company said it would roll out "integrated market-specific solutions" based on Dallab's mobile devices.

The two companies said they would work "to bring innovative technologies and applications in the mobile commerce space not only in the UAE but also in the entire region"

The tie-up "gives us an opportunity for entry into the booming West Asian market with the assistance of e-Company, which has established itself as a provider of outstanding ICT solutions to both the public and private sectors" Dallab chief executive Spencer Yeoh said in Dubai on Sunday.

"The potential of mobile services in terms of mobile data content and multimedia messaging is huge. e-Company's ICT solutions and service excellence will complement the technology platform of Dallab in order to develop innovative mobile services for our customers in the government and private sectors," e-Company general manager Ahmad Abdul Karim Julfar said.
