"Mr. or Ms. Australian Clean, Safe Beef" Wanted
MLA Looks for Person with Clean, Healthy Cow Image
Mr. Glen Feist, Korea's regional manager at MLA (Meat & Livestock Australia). Mr. Feist also serves as vice chairman of ANZCCK(Australia and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Korea).

The MLA is looking for a person that has the clean and healthy image of Hoju Chungjung Woo (Mr. or Ms. Australian Clean Cow) — Free gifts such as hotel dinner tickets, steam cleaners, and recipe books are to be given away.

The MLA (www.ilovebeef.co.kr), well known for Hoju Chungjung Woo, will hold an online event from Oct. 31 to Nov. 13, 2005 in order to select "Mr. or Ms. Hoju Chungjung Woo," a person whose personal image matches with Hoju Chungjung Woo. Participants are invited to find an individual with a healthy and clean image, and post pictures of that person on the MLA website detailing why that person deserves to be recommended. Participants can post pictures of either celebrities, or people around them.

A total of 55 participants will receive free gifts by order of the number of recommendations they receive. The 10 participants whose pictures are recommended by the largest number of visitors will be awarded with hotel dinner tickets for two; the next 15 will be awarded steam cleaners, and the next 30 will receive recipe books. The list of awardees will be posted on the Hoju Chungjung Woo webpage (www.ilovebeef.co.kr) on Nov. 16.

Hoju Chungjung Woo, which made "Clean & Safe Beef" as its motto, has been loved by Korean consumers for its abundant taste and thorough quality management; the brand has achieved a double-digit growth rate in Korea.

Regional Manager at MLA Korea, Glen Feist said, "Hoju Chungjung Woo is loved by Korean consumers thanks to their interest in healthy eating. We will focus more on informing Korean consumers about Hoju Chungjung Woo's excellence in taste and nutrition from now on."

MLA (Meat and Livestock Australia) is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote domestic and overseas marketing and sales promotion for Australian meat and livestock products and to develop mutually beneficial relationships with trading partners worldwide. It is a producers' organization financially sponsored solely by the Australian livestock industry. Hoju Chungjung Woo, which entered Korea in 1989, has been enjoying great popularity among Korean consumers.
