IMI to Host "The 2006 New Year CEO Forum"
Local, Foreign Business Leaders to Attend Forum
Dr. Kyu-Hwang Lee, president of International Management Institute

International Management Institute will hold the "The 2006 New Year CEO Forum" under the banner of "Corporate Strategies to Realize Sustainable Growth in the Golden Era of Asia" at COEX Intercontinental Hotel Seoul from Jan. 18 to Jan. 20, 2006.

"2006 New Year CEO Forum" is the annual economic-business forum of the highest authority in Korea. It has presented strategic solutions, domestic economy and corporate management strategy in January since 1998.

This year "The 2006 New Year CEO Forum" will be proceeding as an international economic forum where the major economic players of Asia come together to discuss the economic issues and continuous development of the region.

"Under the main theme of 'Corporate Strategies to Realize Sustainable Growth in the Golden Era of Asia', this year's CEO Forum will bear the hope and determination of the entrepreneurs of Korea and Asia to tide over the global corporate environment," said Dr. Kyu-Hwang Lee, president of International Management Institute.

Many international professionals such as Thomas G.Schiller, executive managing director of Standard & Poor's Asia Pacific, Luc Reychler, secretary general of International Peace Research Association, Zao Xue Jin, executive vice president of Shanghai Academy of Social Science, Richard C. Koo, chief economist of Nomura Research Institute, and Peter F. Thewlis, vice president of EUCCK will participate in this forum.

Asia is the most dynamic region in the world that has the largest population and is growing at the fastest rate. Until now, the rapid growth of the Asian economy has been centered on Northeast Asia. But with the economic growth of India, now is the time to introduce a new paradigm to create business opportunity and make profit across all of Asia through economic cooperation. In "The 2006 New Year CEO Forum," entrepreneurs and global experts will share their keen insight and experiences, and present their vision and growth strategy for the Asian economy.

Registration is available by fax and online and registration is open until Jan. 13, 2006.
