EU Film Festival "Beyond Borders" May 25-31
Enjoy Diversity of European Film at Seoul Art Cinema
Special Contribution
From German Embassy in Seoul
EU-Filmfestival "Beyond Borders"

Movie fans shouldn't miss this year's EU Film festival which will run from May 25 to May 31, 2007 at Seoul Art Cinema in Nakwon-dong, Jongno-gu, Seou. During one week the event will present 10 critically acclaimed films from all over Europe – all of them introduced only recently at highly renowned international film festivals.

Over the years, the EU Filmfestival has become a "must" for moviegoers. Every movie on show reflects this year's motto "Beyond Borders" in its own way – tragically or with a sense of humour, politically or emotionally. They all portray the many aspects of life in different European cultures that create the European identity. All movies are subtitled in Korean.

The festival will open on Friday, 25 May with the German contribution "Comrades in Dreams" by Uli Gaulke – a documentary which follows the lives of four projectionists living in extremely different worlds: South India, Burkina Faso, mid-west US and North Korea.

On show are the following movies:
