College Coed Crowned "Miss Korea 2010"
Multi-lingual "Jung So-Ra, Daughter of Ex-TV Actor
Jung So-Ra is crowned "Miss Korea 2010"

A 19-year-old college student, Jung So-Ra, was crowned "Miss Korea 2010" on July 25, 2010.

Jung became the winner by beating 55 contestants at the pageant held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.

She is currently attending the University of California, Riverside.

Asked about her future, she said that she wants to become a foreign service officer.

She said that she is not interested in advancing into entertainment industry.

Jung is the fluent speaker of English, Chinese, and Japanese, as well as her native Korean.

Jung's father, Jung Han-Young, was a local Korean TV actor before he became a businessman.

He is running a company "Humantech China."

She grew up in Shanghai, China, where her father is the chairman of Korean Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

She is going to represent South Korea in the Miss World 2010 and Miss Universe 2011 pageants.
