Indonesian Embassy to Host Forum in Seoul
To Offer Insight on Policy Directions of Its New Gov’t
Indonesian Ambassador to Seoul John A. Prasetio

The Embassy of Indonesia in Seoul will organize a forum “Indonesia Today” at Plaza Hotel in downtown Seoul on Sept. 29, 2014, the embassy announced recently in its news release.

Such dignified Indonesian speakers as Senior Deputy Gov. Mirza Aditvaswara of Bankm of Indonesia, Deputy Minister for International Economic and Financial Cooperation Rizal Lukman, and Indonesian Ambassador to Seoul John A. Prasetio will speak at the forum to be held at hotel’s Grand Ballroom at 10 a.m. on the day.

Indonesian representatives from the business and banking community will also appear at the two-hour forum.

Throughout the forum, the speakers will give an insight on policy directions especially on economic and business opportunities as well as political prospects of Indonesia under the incoming government of President-elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, according to the news release.

This forum is designed at providing an insight on policy directions and political prospects of Indonesia to be unfolded under the direction of the incoming government of the president elect.

The confirmed speakers are:
1. Mr. Mirza Adityaswara, Senior Deputy Governor of Bank of Indonesia, Central Bank of Indonesia, formerly Chief Economist for Bank Mandiri Gorup of Indonesia

2. Mr. Rizal Lukman, Deputy Minister for International Economic and Financial Cooperation, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia

3. H.E. John A. Prasetio, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Korea

4. Representatives from the Business and Banking community

At the end of the speakers' presentation, audience will have the opportunity to raise questions and give comments during the question and answer session.

This forum will serve as a good opportunity to further enhance the bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Korea.
