S. Korea's PR Guru Kim Kyong-Hae to Speak
at World Communications Forum in Davos

On “Crisis Communication: The Korean Experience”

Kim Kyong-Hae, South Korea's most famous PR guru and CEO of PR consulting group Communications Korea, was invited to the World Communications Forum in Davos (WCFD), slated for March 10 to 11, 2015 as a guest speaker. He will speak on “Crisis Communication: The Korean Experience”.

The sixth World Communications Forum in Davos aims at uniting trend-makers and influencers from the global communications elite and providing a platform for discussion focused on the future development of communications. CEO Kim will talk about his 10 years of field experiences in crisis management and strategy as well as model that Communications Korea developed as an effective solution.

Kim worked as the Seoul correspondent of Reuters News Agency and the economic editor of the Korea Herald. In 1987, he found Korea’s entitled first PR agency in Korea “Communications Korea.”

In 2001, he established The Korea Institute of Crisis Management and Strategy and has been heavily involved in field crisis management for government organizations and companies. Kim has written four books on PR and one on crisis management "Companies that overcome crisis, companies that crumble with it."

Kim expressed his participants as a special lecturer that “I sincerely hope that the lecture will contribute to stepping up Korea’s crisis preparedness.”

World Communication Forum in Davos is an annual global event focused on the future development of communications, their role in business, society, and politics.

Over the last five years WCFDavos has been addressing the ongoing issues and trends in the public relations industry worldwide, attaining the contribution of over 130 senior-level communicators as speakers and registering participants from more than 44 countries worldwide.
