Tunisian Envoy to Host Exhibition of Tunisian Mosaics & Handicrafts Masterpieces in Seoul
Exhibition Runs March 4-12 at Korea Foundation Gallery
 | Tunisian Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nafti (2nd from left) poses with his spouse Madam Nafti (2nd from right), and with their two daughters at a previous exhibition held in Seoul. | Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nafti of the Tunisian Embassy in Seoul will host the photo exhibition of Tunisian mosaics and handcraft masterpieces at the Korea Foundation Gallery in central Seoul on March 4, 2015, the embassy announced recently.The photo exhibition will run from March 4 to March 12, 2015.On show will be a variety of motifs and traditional handicrafts derived from the influences of the ancient Roman Empire in the North African nation, where remnants of ancient Roman civilization can still be found. They include intricate patterns of masaic craftworks which show the customs, love stories, emotions, commerce, sports, academics, history, and mythology of the Tunisian people. Also, the exhibition will feature artistic posters which illustrate vividly everyday life of the ancient Tunisian people. The exhibition is aimed at promoting the Tunisian culture and providing the local Korean people with the opportunity to discover some aspects of its cultural heritage.During the period the exhibition is open from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. (on Saturday).
