"Perfect Imperfections" Charity Fashion Show Held in Hong Kong
 | Lili Luo (left), president of TriBeluga and Founding General Council member of Smile Asia, poses with fashion designer Angelle Chang after the fashion show in Hong Kong. | BEAM International Foundation, together with outstanding fashion brands from the Netherlands, including Herma de Jong Hat Design, Hiatus, Maxxii-LAB, Sara Lam & Loom Loop, Hosanna Wedding and JOW By Angelle, presented the ¡°Perfect Imperfections¡± charity fashion show at the Residence of the Consul-General of the Netherlands to raise fund for the children with cleft lips and / or cleft palates to have free surgeries in underprivileged areas of China.Besides fashion show, founding General Council member of Smile Asia, creator and president of TriBeluga, a cross-border platform to bring wellness to this world through technology, Lili Luo has initiated a charity auction to raise funds to support the medical operation of children born with a cleft condition.¡°It is truly blessing to witness the cross-country collaboration among warm-hearted international individuals of talent and brands for a good cause," said Lili Luo. "I hope to continue and extend my devotion to creating a better world, especially for our next generation through TriBeluga and meaningful charity activities like today¡¯s 'Perfect Imperfections' fashion show¡± In China, every one in 600 children is born with a cleft condition. Founded in Hong Kong in 1991, BEAM has transformed over 27,000 smiles and lives with the generous support of individuals, corporations, and foundations from all over the world. BEAM has completed over 1,000 surgeries in 2015.As an initiator of this charity fashion show, Dutch-Chinese fashion designer Angelle Chang has a son Jowin who has cleft lips. Since the birth of her son, she has sufferd from many operations. Angelle has to take care of him with more than ordinary attention and patience. A few years ago, she decided to found a fashion brand named after her son ¡°JOW Fashion.¡±She hopes that people can stop focusing on the scar of cleft lips but to put more efforts on helping patients of cleft lips and spreading the spirits of selfless love.
