"Korea-German Nuclear Dismantling Business Seminar and Networking" to Be Held in Seoul
Delegation of 10 German Nuclear Decommissioning Companies to Visit South Korea on June 24-28

A total of 10 German companies specializing in nuclear decommissioning are visiting South Korea on June 24-28, 2019 for attending seminars and events in Seoul and in Busan, Ms. Barbara Zollmann, president and CEO of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) announced recently through its news release.

The 10 participating German companies are famous for safe and effective dismantling the nuclear facilities, nuclear waste disposal, and nuclear management technologies.

They are Krantz GmbH, Energieanlagen Greifswald GmbH, GNS Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH, Uniper Technologies GmbH, JELBA GmbH & Co. KG, Wälischmiller Engineering GmbH, TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH, Thermo Fisher Scientific Messtechnik GmbH, Wölfel Engineering GmbH + Co. KG, and Framatome GmbH.

During the five days of their stay in South Korea, the representatives of the German nuclear companies will participate in the "Korea-German Nuclear Dismantling Business Seminar and Networking" to be held on June 24 (Monday), 2019 at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun in downtown Seoul.

The seminar starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. at Grand Ballroom "Raon" at the basement of the hotel. The networking seccession will be begin at 3:30 p.m. and will last for two hours, according to the chamber.

The German business delegates will also make a visit to the local Korean nuclear facilities and nuclear companies in Busan and other South Gyeongsang Province on June 27-28, 2019. They will visit the local Korean companies in the area, specializing in nuclear decommissioning.

The German business representatives will discuss with their Korean counterparts the ways of exchanging technological cooperation and business opportunities.

The nuclear seminar will be hosted by Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

The seminar will be held by the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) headed by Ms. Barbara Zollmann, president and CEO of KGCCI. It will be also held by KGCCI's German counterpart Enviacon International.

It is also sponsored by Korea Atomic Industrial Forum and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd.
