UAE Ambassador to Seoul Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi speaks in "Pyeongchang Peace Forum (PPF) 2021" held in Pyeong Chang City in S. Korea's Gangwon Province on Feb. 7, 2021.

His Excellency Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE ambassador to Seoul participated in the dialogue session of Pyeongchang Peace Forum (PPF) 2021, which was hosted by Gangwon Province, Pyeong Chang City, KOICA during the period from Feb. 7-9, 2021, in the presence of HE Chung Sye-Kyun, prime minister of the ROK and HE Choi Moon-Soon, governor of Gangwon Province.

During the session, His Excellency the Ambassador spoke about the UAE’s approach to spreading the spirit of tolerance and peace, looking to the future, and the Abrahamic Agreement as a model to be followed for establishing peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The Ambassador said that this step meets the aspirations of the UAE people as well as the people in the region, for stability and prosperity, and the UAE believes that its bilateral ties with Israel and the two countries' cooperation with the United States on the region's matters represent great potentials on diplomatic, scientific, cultural and economic domains, adding that the agreements pave a new path for achieving this goal, through the creation of job opportunities especially for the youth that represent 65 percent of the region's population.

In addition to the above, regarding UAE’s Peaceful Efforts, the Ambassador mentioned that the UAE hosted the Pope's first visit to the Arabian Peninsula in 2019 and became the first Arab country to launch a probe to Mars in 2020.

Also He said that Later this year starting from October, the UAE will host Expo 2020 Dubai, and, the UAE will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UAE foundation in 2nd of December 2021.
