The UAE celebrated the 40th anniversary of bilateral relations with the ROK and is proud of the most important achievements and projects existing between the two countries in the field of peaceful nuclear energy.

On April 8, 2021, His Excellency Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE ambassador to Seoul, held a televised interview on the "Special Coverage" program of Abu dhabi Channel on the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the distinguished UAE-Korean diplomatic relations and the celebration of the UAE-Korean Year of Cultural Dialogue.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Korea launched the Emirati-Korean Cultural Dialogue Year under the slogan "Convergence of Cultures" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the two friendly countries are working together to create more opportunities to build together a future-oriented cultural community and to expand cultural exchanges across the Arab world, thus contributing to real "cultural convergence" between the Korean and Emirati peoples.

It is worth noting that His Excellency "Kwon Yong-Woo," aabassador of the Republic of Korea to Abu Dhabi, participated in the above-mentioned television interview that came within the UAE celebrations of the Year of Cultural Dialogue between the two countries.
