Just What Price Must We Pay for Oil?
By Thomas Emmon Pisano
US Correspondent

Human lives are being traded for the oil coming out of the Middle East. Must we pay for the oil coming from the Iraqi oil fields with American blood? Must the people of America exchange tears for the crude oil we pull from the desert in that part of the world? If this is a war for energy, can America afford to pay such a high price for its production? Each American must ask these questions every time we fill up at the pump. Is all this blood shed worth it, is it worth the return? Must we exchange American blood for Middle Eastern oil?

I have, until now, kept my mouth closed concerning the war in Iraq; I have been silent on President George W. Bush's War Policy. However, after last nights (01/10/07) address I am now up in arms. They told us in that conference that this war was to keep the oil flowing from the Middle East to the 'Free World.' Are we to be fooled by these crazed, power mad leaders in our government, are we to believe that we can't leave the people in Iraq to handle their own problems? Do we have to commit more brave soldiers to their deaths for a senseless war for oil?

I am an American patriot. I believe in the United States of America, but I do not believe in the useless destruction of American lives, the waste of our tax dollars and the loss of prestige that will come about by a further commitment to this insane war for crude petroleum.

Our leaders judgments are clouded and the waters are muddied by people with secret agendas, President George, you must stop the madness now, you are the only one who can quell this bizarre foreign policy which you have set in motion. People of America, it is not treason to stand up for what is right, it is not anti-American to criticize the foreign policy of those who are not mentally competent enough to manage our affairs overseas. We must stand up to the wolves and let them know that they are going about this war all wrong. The people run the government, not the government running the people. If public opinion says STOP, then it must STOP! We are the voice of the American government that is why we have those elected representatives in power, to take heed of our demands.

I watched this televised President George address and I was appalled at the mans seeming indifference to the loss of life in Iraq during the time that this war has been fought. I came to this conclusion, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! You had your chance to do something positive in Iraq and you have failed to bring about a change for the better. The fact of the matter is; you have made things worse in that region, you have botched up something any first year tactician could have managed.

What happened to all the PSYOPS and PW training we had developed prior to this war? Was any of that ever considered? Was this to be a shooting war without diplomacy, a cowboy effort and nothing more, more firepower, more brawn and less brains? It surely seems like that is the case. Who are these generals who can't restrain a rabble force in opposition?

Get this maniac out of the White House impeach this President NOW! Do not listen to his soft soap lies anymore, close you ears to his easy manner, and be realistic America. Do not be conned by President George's 'fact of the matter' attitude.

We as Americans must now stand united against this power crazed man who is dragging us down the path of destruction. Fire the whole lot of them in the White House, wipe the slate clean, and above all get those troops home NOW! We have seen the senseless destruction of Americans for far too long.

I have truly changed my opinion about George Walker Bush; I know he will go down in the annals of history as "The worse President the United States has ever seen."

I know America, that my opinion is less that important when it comes to the over all opinion that is seen by every man, woman and child in our fair country, but I am mad as hell at the way our lives are being handed out to the merchants of death. The military cannot speak out, they are forbidden to speak against their orders, but we are not forbidden to speak our minds. We can speak for those who have to bite their tongues; we can voice our opinions for those who have to still their voices because of their oaths of silence, even if the orders are wrong. Think about it; Blood for Oil, that is wrong; whose pathetic idea was that anyway? Could we be more off the track of what is right and what is wrong?

It has come down to this; we have been brainwashed by propaganda into believing that what is going on in Iraq is the right thing to do, it is not right, take out your moral compasses and look into your hearts America and seek the truth for your selves, don't fall for this pack of lies. Thank You.
