As I look across my desk and out the window of my studio, at the city street below, I see the hustle and bustle of the people going to and fro. I wonder about the crazy people who write about me and who take the knowledge of me for granted, in lies and speculation.

My job in this world is to write, pure and simple, to write. I write stories and I write about the world and its hardships. It is true, I make a lot of things up in my writings, after all I am a fiction writer, I have managed to publish 13 novels and novellas, which are all fiction.

But still, I try to be as factual as I can with my essays, the world does need to hear the truth about itself. So when it is time to be honest and direct then I give that to you the reader so you will be informed to the best of my ability.

My personal life, well that is a different matter now isn't it, no one really knows Thomas Emmon Pisano, he is an enigma and a true mystery. I try to keep my life to my self and those who think they know anything about me and say that they do are, well, liars at best. My religion, my past lives with my many wives and the previously held positions are not know and as far as I know cannot be known.

My military career and my service records are not available to the public, so those who say that they know these things are speculating and guessing. Basically, most critics of my efforts at writing are just trying to muddy the waters and produce some weird results when it comes to exposing my life.

Here is another thing, my life is really no secret, if anyone out there wants to know some deep dark secret about me just ask and the chances are that I will tell you to go to Hades and to mind your own business, after all it is my life and what does it matter to anyone if I am a liberal or a conservative or dove or a hawk? What does it matter if I fight for the under dog or the bureaucrat? What does matter is that I am giving you the proper information and that I am writing a good story, which peeks your imagination. The authors are irrelevant and anonymous and they should be left to their own devices.

I will say this; the hate mongers and the insane busybodies are out there trying to mix up hate and anguish in the world, they need to make this place painful and harsh. It is my job to stop them, to stop the bigotry and the lies, to stop the genocide and the blind indifference to sorrow and suffering.

Yes, I am here to stay and to tell you the truth, my pen is like a hammer beating down the cruel thinkers and the petty, beating down the selfish and the hateful. It is my lot in life to stop the madness you are perpetuating in the world and bring to light a little sanity and reason to this sad and suffering society.
