It has come to my attention that the next election in America is so critical that if we make the wrong decisions during the 2008 election, the United States of America may suffer irreversible damage. If we do recover it may be generations before America returns to its former grand self. This election may be the most important election in our history and if we do not approach this most historic event with absolute certainty we all will suffer.

The United States, being that we are at war, is not a stable nation; we also have enemies constantly thinking of ways to hurt us. We are in need of an administration, which will protect us from the hatred that is constantly brewing from country to country. We will need a Congress and Senate composed of wise and fair-minded people who can think in terms of the global community and not continue on with the same anti-social and selfish behavior we have been subjected to over the past years.

The political climate here in America is bordering on psychotic, the men and women who control our government are deceitful and morally corrupt. This administration, which is in power at the moment, has not dealt with the people of this country in a fair and honest manner.

Frankly, politicians are, as a lot, wholly criminal, they have taken the easy path in lieu of the road to righteousness, and they refuse to own up to any of the misdeeds they have perpetrated in our societies. They only care about what is important to them and the people be damned; maybe not all of them, but enough to make this statement accurate.

The easy path, instead of dealing fairly with our needs, the easy path when it comes to special interest, and the easy path when it comes to lining their pockets with money coming from group's intent on fulfilling their agendas of greed and genocide.

What we need now is a group of people in our government who think wholly in terms of what is truly important for America to survive into the future, and not politicians who are only thinking of what they can get now and for themselves.

We need true spoken humanitarians and statesmen to guide us into the future, our lives, and the lives of our children are depending on the voters of this fair land. We must make the right choice, but furthermore we need to stop thinking that the two party system is working. It is time to step outside of the party lines and come to the realization that this struggle between the Democrats and the Republicans has led us down a path, which does not work. Nothing is accomplished in our government when perfectly sane people cannot agree because of the political party they belong to, even when they know in their hearts that the measure is just and true, they still falter and fail to bring about the necessary changes.

We need honesty in government; we do not need the swaying of votes and the lobbies manipulating the minds and feelings of our elected officials. These forthright men and women need to make honest and informed decisions in order for our country to operate properly, they cannot, no, should not, be influenced by bribes or threats or any other means of coercion, they too must be free.

Between the backlog and the political maneuvering most of the really necessary laws never see the light of day. Control and influence peddling are commonplace in Washington D.C... Corruption is everywhere our government is. Our government must separate itself from deception, bribery, greed, and hate. These things are tough calls, I wonder how good I am at following my own words, but I will try to do my best and that is all any of us can do, our best. Let us rebuild The United States of America.

I am not saying rebuild America from the ground up, all I am suggesting is that you take a closer look at the motives driving the way our government does business.

Below is a quote from an essay called; LIES. This was written March 21, 2006, and has appeared in print elsewhere.

‘Our politicians are a complicated lot, they do things, which seem to be like parlor magic, one hand is in your pocket while the other is performing some fancy smoke and mirrors dazzle-spark, and all the while we sit there fascinated. Are we sheep? I am ashamed to be part of a society, which sells lies for truth and has think tanks, which are geared towards damage control, which is another way of saying; lie factory.

We are not accustomed to standing up and owning up for our mistakes; we would rather try to lie our way out of a problem than meet it head on and confess the truth. Imagine, a thirteen-year-old child listening to the pillar of their community standing up and bold face lying to them through the media. It is no wonder the youth of our communities around the world are full of hatred and frustrated confusion. No person on this planet, at this time in history is thinking about the truth, not the clergy or the government, it has become what people say in quotes, relative, nothing more. Our popular entertainment hints at; it's ok to tell a little white lie it is ok to tell a lie if the intentions are fair and good. Bull, I say bull to your white wash, bull to your cheating on your community, spouses, and taxes. I say bull to your excuses. We have become a society of liars, no more, no less.'

When I wrote that essay, I was not trying to be self-righteous, I wrote it out of concern, we need to know the Truth, and we should feel it in our very core when we tell a lie, we must be able to know the difference between right and wrong, no matter what.

We must start by being honest with ourselves, and then with our homes and communities, maybe someday our country will have a deep sense of what is right and what is wrong. no confusion and no misinterpretation. Our country must always, to the person, know when wrong is being committed. We must have a moral compass that will guide us in this complicated world today.

The first way to know the difference between write and wrong is to test it. I don't know all the answers to these all too difficult questions, but I do know this there should be men and women who are up to the job of determining these issues, and the only way to get them in their right places, where they are effective, is to test them. Find their true centers where they are their best and place them there, avoid the Peter Principle.
