Lal Masjid or Red Mosque The Lal Masjid (Urdu: لال مسجد; translated: Red Mosque) is a mosque located in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. A religious school for women, the Jamia Hafsa madrasah, as well as a male madrasah, are attached to the mosque.

The religious place named Masjid or Mosque is recognised as the centre of prayer in the Islam religion. The meaning of Masjid is the place where prayer to God is done. As the Islam religion doesn't allow praying before anything except the formless God so Masjid is also known as the Baitullah or the house of God.

But the incident that happened in the last days in the Lal Masjid in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan compels a man to doubt if the Muslims with the extreme thoughts have not made the holy place of prayer a ' Baitullah' or the house of Satan. This mosque which is situated in a reputed place of Islamabad & is very controversial & doubtful has remained a centre for the great leaders, officers & officer of the ISI, the central intelligence of Pakistan.

The head office of ISI is also situated near the Lal Masjid. This overall in charge of this mosque Moulvi Abdul Aziz & Moulvi Abdul Rashid belong to a southern province in Pakistan. Before that, father of these brothers, Maulana Abdullah was the head priest of this mosque. Some years ago, Maulana Abdullah was shot dead in the premises of this Lal Masjid.

There are separate Madarsas & boarding houses for the boys & girls in this Masjid that spreads the fundamental thoughts. The heads of this Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz & Moulvi Abdul Rashid had been demanding to implement Islami religious laws in Pakistan for many years. It is considered that the demand for implementing Islami religious laws in Pakistan is being supported by the organizations that have Talibani thoughts & by many other extremist organizations as Al-Qaida & Jaish-E-Mohammad etc.

After the terrorist attack of 9/11 in America, the Lal Masjid is becoming a centre of the terrorist movements instead of the Islami movements. Here many fundamental organizations worked to prepare policies against America. Not only this, they also tried to unite the people of Pakistan to follow the Talibani thoughts.

The demand for the implementation of religious laws in Pakistan was a part of the chain of the same thought. For the last few years, this so called Masjid has become a shelter point for the terrorists instead of a centre for the education or a prayer place to the God. Some so called students of this Masjid were seen moving here & there with pistols, rifles, banned AK 56 & AK 47 in such doubtful movements.

They were seen with the faces covered with mask. The extremists who were living in the guise of students started their extremist activities even on the roads. These doubtful persons moved with weapons in groups in cars, on the roads of Islamabad only to create terror & kidnapped the persons whom they wanted.

In all, these terrorists the self styled patrons of Islam started to throw a challenge before the Musharraf government of Pakistan. Even there were voices from the Masjid for suicidal attacks in Pakistan. Both the brothers, who were the heads in the Masjid used to warn the Pakistan administration that there were suicidal attack group with them. In the hour of need they can do the suicidal attacks wherever they wanted.

When the terrorist activities of Lal Masjid became unbearable, then the Musharraf government was forced to take actions against terrorists hiding themselves in the guise of students in Lal Masjid. Undoubtedly hundreds persons were killed in this sorrowful incident. But an interesting aspect of this action was that the Masjid chief Moulvi Abdul Aziz was found escaping in the guise of a woman.

He, who incited the innocent people to die for Islam as a suicidal bomb was captured in burqa along with the women group instead of facing the Pakistani rangers. How this incident can be related to the Islami education that is being associated with Lal Masjid for the last decade?

Does the Islami education teach for preparing the Home of God or Masjid as a store of weapons? Does it teach to make asylum of Masjid or Madarsa for the professional terrorists who kill many innocents? Or kidnapping of unarmed & innocent citizens by the so called students of the Madarsa Or to prepare policies for conspiracies & politics for revolt instead of praying to God & use it as a holy place? If it is to pressurize for implementation of Islami religious law in Pakistan by the Moulvi brothers then was there not any other peaceful way with them? And implementation of what Islami religious law is being talked about? Are the Talibani policies real Islami religious law? Should the fundamental Islami thought be called the real Islami religious law? If it is all true, then what was the need of running away like cowards for Moulvi Abdul Aziz? Why did this so called Moulvi selected to escape cowardly who taught his handful pupils, the un-Islamic teachings to become a human bomb instead of becoming a martyr himself?

The Lal Masjid operation in Pakistan has once again proved that the people who organize the fundamental & terrorist activities in the name of Islam are infact anti-Islam. They are the foes of humanity, God & Muslims also. Had it not been so, the Al Qaeda chief the self styled Islami custodian Osama Bin Laden wouldn't have gone underground in caves. Abdul Aziz need not have taken the way of escaping as he hid himself among the women groups in the cover of veil. The people who fight for the sake of religion & God should have courage as Hazrat Imam Husain did. They should raise the voice against injustice as Husain raised against Yazid in the field of Karbala.
