Osama Bin Laden

In the last days a military action to oust the terrorists from Lal Masjid in Pakistan was propagated as 'Operation Silence' by the media but according to the Pak military sources, it was a name given by the media whereas the Pak military had given it the name 'Operation Sunrise.' The Operation Sunrise was the first ever big action of the Pakistan Government against the terrorism since Pakistan came into existence. Many remarks about this military action are being made. Some call it a wrong step taken by General Musharraf. It is also being heard by senior Pak leaders like Benazir Bhutto that Musharraf is late in starting the operation sunrise. America is encouraging Musharraf for it .Afghanistan Government is also very happy on this operation as it is against terrorism. The group of the world that sees terrorism as the enemy of the humanity favoured this action of Musharraf's whereas the extremists that are Islamic fundamentalists are openly opposing this action done by the Pak military.

Eman-Al-Jwahiri was the first leader of the terrorists who raised his voice against the Operation Sunrise. He spat the poison of hatred against General Parvez Musharraf & his army & called upon the Muslims of the world to attack Pakistan. After the incident of Lal Masjid, the attacks on the soldiers of Pakistan have increased too. America that has started a worldwide movement against terrorism is watching the Lal Masjid incident very keenly. That's why that after the call of crusade against Pakistan by a high rank leader of Al Qaeda, Eman-Al-Jwahiri. America at once made an announcement to increase to double as is said 50 million US dollars on prize money for arresting Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden, dead or alive. America is very well aware of the fact that after the Operation Sunrise, the fundamentalists will not remain silent. America is much worried about the spread of disturbance & disorder in Pakistan. It also wants that control of nuclear installations in Pakistan shouldn't stip into the hands of extremists. To cope with this situation, America is attempting to weaken the Al Qaeda network at the earliest. Obviously, the arrest or death of the chief leaders of Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden & Jawahiri will be a comfort for America.

It is beyond doubt that both America & Pakistan are having that poisonous fruit of the tree which they planted themselves. This tree of terrorism is giving its fruit in the form of 9/11, London Blasts & Operation Sunrise. This thought of terrorism has changed Afghanistan, from an ancient historical country to ruins. Many a time, this terrorism throws a challenge to communal harmony of secular India. This terrorism has compelled the Kashmiri Pundits, the natives of Kashmir, known as a heaven of India, to live lives of refugees in their own country. This is the terrorism that never hesitates to shoot the praying Muslim brothers in Pakistan. This terrorism has taken lives of thousands of innocents by now. It is backed by a strong contribution of extreme Islamic thoughts. Now this face of terrorism talks about implementation of Islamic religious laws ( Sharia) through maulvies & other religious leaders. Mixing of religion & politics is being talked about. If one out of 73 groups of the Islam talks about the Islami religious law, then it becomes a matter to worry for the remaining 72 other Muslim groups. Which religious law is being told as Islamic religious law or Sharia? Do the activities organized by Lal Masjid represent the Islamic religious law? Is it a message of religious law- to adopt a way to oppose the government to store illegal weapons at the holy places of prayer, to take the women & children as a shelter to save selves life or other inhumane activities.

One notable fact about the military action on Lal Masjid is- the day Pak army started its action against the terrorists in Lal Masjid the first reaction was received from the Talibani organizations. Thousands of Pro-Talibani came out & jammed the Karakoram highway, situated between China & Pakistan. This opposition clearly reveals that thoughts in Lal Masjid are being nurtured by the Taliban's. What is the talibani Islam? What type of the Islam they want to spread in the world? This is not a hidden truth. The main occupation of the talibans has been cropping of intoxicants, the poppies, in the afghan areas near the border of Afghanistan & Pakistan, its smuggling & to purchase arms & weapons with this money. Gautam Buddha was the great saint, the messenger of peace, who taught the world a lesson of peace & harmony. His statue was in the Bamiyan state of Afghanistan. His ancient & huge statues were blown with the help of cannons. This act of spreading hatred was done by the talibans. The other actions of the talibans have been killing thousands of innocent people & hanging many of them on the poles or trees. How can these bad deeds be linked with the real form of Islam?

Now the need arises that all the classes of the world even the liberal groups of the Muslims should come out to oppose the talibani thoughts that are riding with terrorism on Islam. Now the time is short & need is to have a look at the anti-terrorist move in a way that all the people who love peace, want harmony should unite to oppose the terrorism tooth & nail. The highest type of terrorist example is that it has made the governments of South Asia, Middle Asia, America & Britain restless.
