The move is in line with the comprehensive developments being experienced by the judiciary department. It is also part of the continuous efforts to encourage women to embrace all fields of work on equal footing with men. In this connection, the UAE President also issued a decree late in 2007, appointing two women public prosecutors; Aliya Mohammed Saeed Al Ka'abi and Atiqa Awadh Ali Al Kathieri. On Sept. 25, 2008, the Federal Cabinet endorsed a memo from UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the most extensive transfer in history of diplomacy at the ministry.
