Tunisian Enovy Joins ESMOD Fashion Show

Tunisian Ambassador to Seoul Mustapha Khammari and Mrs. Latifa Khammari attended a fashion show held in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on Nov. 19, 2009.

The fashion show organized by "ESMOD Seoul" fashion school drew hundreds of fashion-related personalities and foreign dignitaries including the Tunisian diplomatic couple.

The fashion show was organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of ESMOD's opening its Seoul branch.

Earlier on Nov. 6, 2009, Amb. Khammari hosted an exhibition "Tunisian Handicraft Exhibition" at the Seoul Center for Culture & Tourism in downtown Seoul.

The exhibition was held from Nov. 5 to Nov. 20, 2009 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and South Korea.

A variety of rare handicraft objects were displayed to show to the local Korean people the rich Tunisian handicraft heritage which harks back to 3,000 years.

Tunisian Amb. Khammari has been one of the most active foreign envoys in promoting its arts and culture among the local Korean folks in the diplomatic community in Seoul.
