Chairman Kwon Soon-Han of Soyee Product Inc., a medical equipment producer and exporter, is a highly social diplomat as well as a global businessperson. At age 78 Kwon is still as active as any socialite on the diplomatic stage in Seoul with his dedication to his own business.
Kwon has always been a busy in the diplomatic community in Seoul since he became the honorary consul of Costa Rica in 2014.
Kwon has so far served as the leader of South Korea's two most important trade organizations. He served as the chairman of the Korea Importers Association, and as the vice chairman of the Korea International Trade Association.
For his devotion to the domestic industry and international business transactions he was decorated with various honors and awards.

He received the Stone Tower of the Order of Industrial Service Merit award from the Korean government in 2005. In both 2007 and 2009 he was honored with the Italian Order of Knighthood and the highest industrial order of Romania.
A graduate of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) Kwon has thus far contributed to his alma mater a lot. Since 2011 Kwon has served three consecutive times as the chairman of the HUFS Alumni Association.
"I want to make HUFS as a truly global university as far as I am the chairman of its Alumni Association," Kwon said at the time. "All alumni members should love HUFS"
Kwon was praised by other universities. For one he received the best business leader award from Andong National University in South Korea in 2009. At the time he was honored by the Andong City mayor as well.

Kwon started his current Soyee Product Inc. in 1983, developing it into a major producer and exporter of medical equipment including a X-ray Grid.
Prior to his own business Kwon worked as an official of the local Korean companies for many years.
Kwon has been exporting the X-ray grids and other medical equipments to as many as 60 countries including the United States, Germany, and England.
The export items include X-ray film cassettes called the Grid Front Cassettes and the Portable X-ray High Frequency Unit & Stands developed by Kwon's company.
For this area of medical equipment Kwon's company has been enjoying the competitive edge over his rivals, according to the industrial experts.
Since its inception in 1983 the Soyee Product Inc. has been on a steady rise in production and sales.
Kwon has two offices: One in Seoul and the other in Thompson City, Connecticut in the US.
Nestled on the 19th floor of the 55-story Korea World Trade Center (KWTC) building in Samsung-dong in the Gangnam area of Seoul, Soyee Product Inc. has been in one place for nearly three decades.
Kwon still serves as the vice chairman of the Korea International Trade Association which owns KWTC.
