Fir Trees at Woljeong Temple
An alley under the tall and shady fir trees at Woljeong Temple () in Gwangwon Province attracts holiday makers and hikers as a famous destination in South Korea particularly when the temperature hits over 30 degrees celsius in mid-May 2016.

Nestled in the National Park of Mt. Odae (ߣ) in mountainous Gwangwon Province Woljeong Temple's fir forest is also famed spot for photographers, both professional and amateur alike.

The fir trees, a member of Korean pine tree family grow in Mt. Odae (ߣ) National Park in Gwangwon Province. Mt. Odae (ߣ) is a South Korean mountain peak in Gangwon, standing at an elevation of 1,563 meter (5,128 feet).

Also famous is the crystal clear streams of Woljeong Temple. The stream is surrounded thick canopy of big and tall fir trees.

The stream of Woljeong Temple () gets surrounded by autumnal trees tinged with various colors as South Korea' fall season deepens.

The beauty of the stream culminates in the fall season when autumnal trees becomes tinged with various colors as South Korea gets ready to meet the harsh winder. The stone arch bridge of the time-honored temple adds to the stream.

The stream leads to a series of small ponds in the stream called "Sogeumgang(˧)" or "Little Diamond Mountain," named after the beauty of Diamond Mountain (˧ߣ) in North Korea, the most beautiful mountain on the Korean Peninsula.

Located on the eastern slopes of Mt. Odae in Gwangwon Province's Pyeongchang County, Woljeong Temple (), is one of the oldest and major Buddhist temples in the nation. It was founded originally in 643.
